The CHIP Youth Project offers care to young people from 13 to 24 years of age who have HIV and works with others to avoid infection. The project  provides a broad range of services, including primary medical care, HIV testing, counseling, peer education, risk-reduction assistance, and support groups.
Young people often think that they are invincible and  that nothing can harm them; they believe that HIV is something that "other" people get. The reality is, anyone can get HIV. It is now the leading cause of death among people between 13-24 years old in the world. By practicing safer sex, avoiding the abuse of drugs and alcohol, and getting yourself educated, you are reducing your risk  for contracting HIV.
If you have ever put yourself at risk-by engaging in unsafe sex, sharing needles, or participating  in other risky activity-you could have the HIV virus. Over time, it can lead to AIDS. Put time on your side and get tested now. You can have a test without anyone knowing. The test is FREE-call us for sites/options/choices . Once you know you have HIV, you can make choices that may save lives. Want help? Just call us at 1.888.837.7358.
